Tobi adopted Sid and Angie’s guitar lines, Luca and Burkard shared Shane’s drum creations, Judith took on the violin and Hagen added some considered cello parts. Just as the recording were nearing completion, governments around the globe temporarily lifted the restrictions and I seized the opportunity to whisk myself off to
Glasgow and re-record vocals with Nerea in Johnstone, a small town near Glasgow – Nerea‘s voice was one aspect of the group‘s sound we simply couldn‘t substitute.

So 25 years since it‘s commencement, here we now are, I’m thrilled to release this portrait and contemporary document of a culturally diverse and lively city! A biography if you like on Glasgow.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved – then and now – and remain hopeful that Krakatit’s anarchy and rugged playfulness can still capture audiences hearts today! Enjoy! ‚Get stuck in‘ as they‘d say in Glesga!
